Update: CashMagnet Device Limits
Author’s Own Work |
I want to provide an update concerning the CashMagnet app’s device
limit. Based on what I read online and from CashMagnet’s website, it was my
understanding that as long as you were only running 4 devices at any one time (on a single IP address),
you could use as many devices as you wanted.
This is partially true. CashMagnet places limits on how often you can
use certain devices in a given time period. For example, I have 7 Samsung
phones that run CashMagnet (the ones running Kit Kat 4.4 don’t run very well,
but that’s a topic for another blog post).
Anyways, I usually run them until I’m out of my 24 hour passive time
allowance. So my first 4 phones have no more passive time, I use them for something else,
like running a Perk app, such as Swagbucks video apps, AppTrailers, Perk TV or Perk TV Live. So in
theory, once the original 4 CashMagnet phones are no longer running CashMagnet,
I should be able to immediately activate my other 3. Not so. Often, I’ll get an error that
says:
“We notice that you are trying to connect extra device (over the limit
of 4 devices) within 24 hours period, that is forbidden by our rules. You will
be able to use this device in __.__ hours”
Please note that all typos and translation errors are original, with
the two blanks representing the amount of time that must pass before the device
can use CashMagnet again. So yeah, not cool, but those are the rules, I guess.
Bottom Line
This doesn’t mean you should stop using the CashMagnet app. But consider
the above information before you stock up on farming phones for this app.
